Passenger traffic at Vágar Airport in the seven-month period January-July 2019 rose 12.7 percent to 249,887 from 218,151 last year.

That‘s according to Kringvarp Føroya.

Faroe Islands’ only airport saw a total of 63,788 passengers in July, an increase of 16.2 percent compared to July 2018.

In 2018, Vágar Airport handled a record-breaking 378.000 passengers.
